Eastern Steamship Lines ss Emerald Seas ss Bahama Star Brochure 1974

Small 3-panel 2-sided brochure for the April 26 - November 17, 1974 "Sea Breeze Tours" air/land/sea tours that included 3 & 4 day cruises from Miami to Nassau and Freeport Bahamas aboard the Eastern Steamship Lines ships ss Emerald Seas and ss Bahama Star.  The tours also included air travel via National Airlines, hotel stays in Miami Beach at the Castaways or Sea Isle Hotel, and admission to the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom. The brochure has photos and short descriptions of the Emerald Seas and Bahama Star and cruise schedules for the ships, a short description of the tour packages, tour rates including airfare, and general information The brochure is in excellent condition. The ship was originally built in 1944 as a US Navy troopship, the USS General WP Richardson (AP-118). The ship was charted by American Export Lines and sailed as the ss La Guardia from 1949-1951, and then briefly served time as a troopship in the Korean War.
