Antique sheet music with lyrics from 1919 for the song Freckles, words and music written by Cliff Hess, Howard Johnson, and Milton Ager. Popular edition, published in the USA by Leo Feist Inc, New York. The cover has Nora Bayes with the words: "Introduced with Great Success by Nora Bayes" Hess, Ager, and Johnson also wrote such songs as: Friends, Heart Breaking Baby Doll, and Anything Is Nice If It Comes From Dixieland. The back cover has ads for the songs "I know What It Means To Be Lonesome" (by Kendis, Brockman, and Vincent), and "I Am Always Building Castles In The Air" (by Ted Garton and A. Fred Phillips). The sheet music booklet is 11" x 8" (279mm x 203mm). The booklet has 2 pages of music (plus the front and back covers). Condition: the sheet music booklet shows wear on the edges and has several small tears.  There is a 1.5" tear at the base of the spine, 1/2" tears on the top edge and right edge, and a small dogear crease on the front cover's top right corner.
