The Rotterdam also sailed on a special April 4, 1983 14-day Easter cruise from New York and Fort Lauderdale. The brochure includes many photos of the ships' interiors and exteriors, descriptions and photos of daytime activities / dining / nightlife, photos and descriptions of ports of call, sailing dates and itineraries, room rates, cabin plans and photos of staterooms for all 3 ships, detailed deck plans for all 3 ships, fly cruise rates, and general information. The brochure is in very good condition (see photos). The Volendam was originally built as the Brasil in 1958 for the US flag Moore-McCormack Lines. Holland America bought the ship in 1973 and renamed it the Volendam.
