
Stardust Resort And Casino Las Vegas Nevada Matchbook Cover 1990's
Vintage 30-strike matchbook cover (no matches) from the early 1990's advertising the Stardust Resort and Casino on the Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 1,552 room Stardust opened in 1958 and was the largest hotel in the world when it opened. In 1985 it was purchased by Boyd Gaming who added a 32 story tower. The resort closed in 2006 and was demolished to make room for a new development . Resorts Las Vegas opened on the property in 2021. The front cover has an artist illustration of the Stardust at night and the phone number for reservations. The strike side has the hotel name and logo and says "1500 Brand New Guest Rooms". The inside of the matchbook has info on joining the Stardust Slot Club members' reward program. The matchbook cover is empty and there are no matches, the strike pad appears to be unused. The matchbook is in very good condition (see photos).
