AEM Universal High Output Inductive Smart Coil

AEM 's High-Output Inductive Coils address the limitations of traditional inductive coils used in high-performance applications. Unlike standard inductive coils, AEM 's coils provide both high spark energy, typically found in Capacitive Discharge Ignition (CDI) systems, and a long spark duration crucial for efficient combustion in high compression, high RPM, or nitrous oxide engines. Traditionally, inductive coils favored long spark duration over high energy, while CDI systems provided strong spark energy with short duration. AEM 's "Smart" Inductive Coils eliminate this trade-off by delivering high spark energy (over 100mJ and 40,000 Volts) without the need for a CDI module, and maintaining a long spark duration unlike multiple spark systems that rely on shorter bursts to mimic a longer duration.  These coils are designed specifically for applications that lack an external igniter.
