The heart shape that we know today may have originally been an interpretation of Aristotle's anatomical writings, in which he described three chambers with a dent in the center. He named the heart as the first organ to form in a developing embryo, and penned that it is the seat of intelligence, motion, and sensation.  This is an effortless, weighty solid gold charm that can be easily added to a necklace you already own.
