MUGWORT SOAP For restful sleep, relaxful mood, and, for some, lucid dreaming. Mugwort, also known as wild wormwood, chrysanthemum weed, St. John’s herb, and simply “dream weed,” has numerous health benefits. It can soothe muscle and joint aches and pains, improve mood, and aid relaxation.Mugwort is said to induce lucid dreaming, and has been used to stimulate inspiration and creativity at the subconscious level. By itself, Mugwort is mildly aromatic, restful, and adds a mild herbal fragrance. We have teamed the mild mugwort aroma with pachouli oil for this soap, which adds an earthy tone. Mugwort is grown organically on our farm in Groton/Mystic, CT and is combined with olive, coconut, palm, and castor oils in a traditional hand-crafted saponification process. Olive oil softens and moisturizes the skin. Coconut oil produces a cleansing soap. Palm oil helps harden the bar, so that it lastslonger.
