It's picturesque in all seasons; in the winter the falls form gigantic ice towers, in the spring when the snow melts the falls practically overflow with powerful force. The spray from the falls climbs over the top of the rock walls and can be felt from hundreds of feet away. In the summer time, the falls can practically dry up to no more than a trickle. Any time of the year is a great time to visit Minnehaha Falls.
