Approximately 4mm wide. The 6mm round Cornflower Blue synthetic opals used in this ring are meticulously grown in a lab for over a year and are GIA certified. They have a similar composition to natural opals, the process is just sped up in a lab. These opals are stronger and more scratch resistant than natural opals, so they are great for everyday wear.
