Price per bulb (approx. 2 oz. each) Inchelium Red (softneck):  Renowned for mild flavor which is long-lasting with a hint of hotness that gets stronger in storage. Large off-white bulbs, blushed pale purple at the base, have 4 to 5 layers with 10 to 20 cloves per bulb. Chesnok Red (hardneck):  One of the best for cooking, baking and roasting as it retains its shape and has a very creamy texture and full-bodied flavor. Large bulbs with whitish, purple-striped wrappers enclosing 8–12 medium-sized cloves. Porcelain (hardneck):  Has rich, mildly hot flavor. Very large bulbs contain 4 to 7 huge cloves.  Wrappers are splashed with purple and cloves are usually striped and easy to peel.
