In the Hoop Project Club (Spring 2025: March 21 - May 16, Friday, $60/hr. 1.5hr/session, Total 8 sessions)
The "In the Hoop Project" Club seeks to provide hands-on experience in embroidery and art, emphasizing vocational skills, teamwork, & social skills. With an intro to embroidery techniques and project-based learning, the club promotes group work, community outreach, and a fun experience! It aims to create a dynamic and supportive community that enhances artistic abilities & fosters lasting connections through shared interests. New Policy: Students may miss one lesson per session. Missing more than one lesson will result in lower priority for registration. No refunds will be given after the session starts. CURRICULUM: Embroidery Skills: cutting, cleaning, hooping, loading/unloading on the machine, & folding/packaging. Social Skills: working reliably, following instructions, asking for help, helping others, & self advocation.
