Admiral Broadway Revue is an American live television variety show that ran from January 28 to June 3, 1949. The show was broadcast live on Fridays from 8 to 9 pm ET simultaneously on both the NBC and the DuMont networks. In the style of Milton Berle and Ed Sullivan, this Friday- night variety show starring Sid Caesar and Imogene Coca was designed in a style somewhere between Broadway and Vaudeville. Presenting a broad array of entertainment, from comedy acts to acrobatic and musical numbers, this program featured a large number of contemporary and future television stars. Series regulars include comic performs: Sid Caesar, Imogene Coca, Bobby Van, singer/actress Mary McCarty, and dancers Marge and Gower Champion.
