The Felony Squad was debuted on the 12th of September 1966 and ended on the 31st of January 1969. It was filmed in Los Angeles and it follows the exploits of two detectives as they were out on the streets solving crimes. Sgt. Sam Stone portrayed by Howard Duff, a veteran that was partnered with a young rookie on the police work named Det. Jim Briggs portrayed by Dennis Cole. The two are investigators in major crime unit. They were joined by their commanding officer who chose them to be out on the streets and solve crime; and Dan Briggs portrayed by Ben Alexander as the desk sergeant and father to Jim.
