Keep an Eye Out painting

10x20 acrylic and marker on canvas I’m often inspired by the classic red/blue 3-d effect, but I’m more inspired by magenta and cyan. As always I didn’t know where it was going, layering paint and feeling it out. Once the background was done it needed something else. I used to draw eyes so much back in my late teens, and it was fun to incorporate them into my current work. The plan was to just have two eyes, but why stop there? Hand adding silver metallic marker over them just brings them out even more.
