This Unique piece is durable, the two layers hold each other together that will stand the test of time. We have also installed brackets and a wire on the back side for easy hanging. The stain is a quality stain. All of our pieces are handmade in our home therefore no two are exactly alike. We do spend time carefully inspecting each piece we create in order to ensure the best quality for our customers. It is important to us that you know we are not machines.
