Rum Barrel-Aged Sweet Home Chicago

We aged our Sweet Home Chicago coffee in one of the barrels used to craft Two Brothers Artisan Spirits Rum. Formal tastings revealed notes of Concord grape, banana, pineapple, almond extract, marshmallow, milk chocolate, fresh cut lumber, and campfire in addition to strong notes of the sweetness of the oak and the whisper of the rum that tells the barrel's story. This is an excellent way to try for yourself how the barrel-aging process can transform a familiar favorite.
