Alright....this one bears some 'splainin': Like probably a lot of you, we had a huge rash of burst pipes due to an early cold snap just before Christmas. We had so many burst pipes and sprinkler-flow alarms that we were going from one to the next for over a week. Needless to say, we pulled a lot of locks and forced a lot of entry conventionally with the irons too. One of my lieutenants out at one of the other stations said I should get little key stickers made and give one out for every crew that pulls a lock. I loved it, so I had them made. My sergeant at my station saw this and said, "Oh, great idea....like college football stickers!". I had no idea what he was talking about, so he explained to me that teams award small stickers that players can stick to their lids for the completion of certain plays.
