Rose of Jericho - Selaginella Lepidophylla is not an actual rose, but a Mexican desert plant that has beautiful, magickal properties. It's also known as the Resurrection flower because it comes back to life after with hydration. It symbolizes transformation, renewal, protection, abundance and prosperity. When dry or dormant, the Rose of Jericho appears as a tightly curled brown ball. Also known as the "resurrection plant" or "resurrection fern", the Rose of Jericho can survive in a dormant state without water or rooted for 2 or more years, and then come entirely back to life. When watered or planted, the stems will begin to uncurl and recover to their original green color.
