Loowit Japanese Hemlock - Tsuga diversifolia 'Loowit'
The Loowit Dwarf Japanese Hemlock is a really nice tree for the miniature garden. The trunk lifts the foliage up off the ground while the branches splay outward, forming a wonderfully tiny canopy of green-goodness. The branches can be trimmed to any shape you like. The cutest tiny brown buds you see in the photos will burst in spring in a lovely light green color at the tips of each branch. You'll definitely know spring is here!
