Starbase 04

The Martian Starbase is a bustling hub of activity, even at night. The bright lights and bustle of the day shift give way to the more subdued but no less busy evening hours. Starbase is home to a large number of scientists and engineers who work tirelessly to maintain and improve upon the many systems that keep the base running smoothly. They are aided by an army of robots who never tire and whose skills complement those of their human counterparts. Even when most people are asleep, there is always someone on duty monitoring the life support systems or working in one of the many labs on experiments that could someday help make Mars habitable for humans. There is also a security team keeping watch over everything, making sure nothing goes wrong during what should be peaceful nighttime hours. All this activity makes for a very lively place, even at night!
