Distilled from hearty, delicious Wisconsin grains, with the same mashbill our sold out "Wisconsin Waffles" was so famous for. Wollersheim Rye whiskey + vanilla toasted barrel + a maple bourbon barrel = magical winter perfection. Two slices of rye bread, loaded with cinnamon candies, vanilla cream and a fancy-$%& maple reduction. Served open-faced, of course. We love us some Wisconsin whiskey, and this Wollersheim rye is no exception. However, we also can't resist adding our own twist when appropriate. This sweet and spicy vanilla toasted whiskey spent nearly a year resting in a used maple bourbon barrel, adding layers of rich maple syrup and vanilla to a decidedly rye-forward profile. Toss in aromas of cinnamon candies and some light clove and you have the perfect pour for the cool fall weather.
