This minimalist wallet is handmade from oak and features the coffee gold silk insert.  Holds eight standard cards, but can expand or collapse as needed. The front of this wallet has the Gadsden flag engraved on it. A coiled timber rattlesnake and the words "Don't Tread On Me," was designed by Christopher Gadsden in 1775. Its design serves as warning against government over reach. The back of this wallet features the "Come and Take It" flag. The slogan was first coined by the Spartan king at the battle of Thermopylae as a defiant answer to the demand that they lay down their arms. Later, this flag was fashioned as a symbol of defiance against Mexico during the Texas Revolution when Mexico demanded Texas turn over their cannon.   Measures L 3.36in. X W 2.11in. X T.51in. empty. With eight cards it measures .82in. thick.
