Treasure

I captured this wonderful image in the fall while I was shooting in North Carolina. After a brief jaunt on the wrong trail my cousin and myself realized we weren’t on the right path when we ended up at the riverbank with no trail to follow.We headed back to where we started and tried again. I was very worried that when we got to the waterfall there would be people all over judging by how busy the parking area was. After a nice little hike we were very surprised to find ourselves all alone with the waterfall for nearly half an hour.This gave me lots of time to play with angles and ultimately I ended up liking this one best. The sky was clear and the sun was blazing so it was a bit difficult to work out an angle that didn’t have a bright spot in it. Luckily the waterfall wasn’t being hit directly and this ended up being my shot.
