Yosemite in Bloom

After waking up in Yosemite with only two hours of sleep, this meadow drawing me in with yellows, whites, purples, and blues.  I spent more time shooting this location than any other on his trip, even returning to photograph it a second time.  I ultimately chose this image from all of the colors, loving the oranges in the decomposing tree surrounded by the vibrant purples of new life.
