Join us in the #ThursdaysInBlack global campaign by showing solidarity and speaking out against gender-based violence to ensure that women and men, boys and girls, and transgendered persons are safe from violence in all places in our societies. Throughout the world, gender-based violence is a tragic reality. Such violence can increase during public health crises like the COVID-19 pandemic. The Thursdays in Black campaign grew from the stories of rape as a weapon of war, gender injustice, abuse, violence, and other tragedies.
