I have wanted to create a white-on-white printed pattern lamp shade for a while. I love burnout fabrics and subtle prints that pack a punch in visual texture. I've been holding on to this fabric for a little while until I felt like I had honed my craft enough to do this well. With stripes on a curved lamp shade, it's not always perfect, but I always try my best to make it just right. At first glance, this is a plain white lamp shade, but once the lamp is turned on - out pops the personality. I like to say that is shade is 'simple by day, party by night'. The stripes and polka dots just come alive and bring a little cheer into a space. The perfect balance of calmness with pleasant surprise.
