'Iconical' Cone Lamp Shade in Cotton

Inspired by vintage lamp shades from the 1930s, I wanted to see if I could create my own modern version of the cone shaped lamp shade. This shade has a 12 inch bottom diameter and comes to a complete point at the top. The look is stunning. It was a challenge to create, but I think the end result is worth it.Because of the unusual shape of this lamp shade, there are some extra considerations when choosing this lamp shade. Since there is no hole at the top to allow the heat to escape, this shade can only be used with a low wattage, LED light bulb. Preferably, a shorter or globe light bulb would be ideal. Because of this shade shape, it has the potential to get warm quicker, so this would be a nice solution for an accent lamp that isn't left on for long periods of time.
