When I started making shades over 15 years ago now (sheesh!), this was the fabric I started with. I had no idea it was actually one of the most difficult fabrics to work with until a couple years later when I started experimenting with other fabrics. The outcome is definitely worth the extra care involved with working with this delicate fabric. I always look for good visual texture in the fabrics I pick for my shades, and this fabric is no exception. After all these years, it is still one of my favorite fabrics when lit. It has a lovely glow and a great nubby texture.This fabric has a nubby texture that runs horizontally through the shade.
