I've seen vintage lamp shades with a strongly textured, wabi-sabi like weave in a range of tans and grays - and this is as close as I've ever seen. It's maybe a little better than the vintage ones because this thin linen is great for light diffusing.  I love the visual interest and how it automatically make a lamp shade feel finely aged. The color range is soft and inviting while still allowing plenty of light into a space.
