These two bulls were wandering on a ranch in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Although I started this painting several years ago, and didnt work on it for a long time, I revisited it this year and repainted it. The sage and slightly abstracting and focusing on the textures became equally as important as the light and personality of the bulls as the main subject.
