Porter Creek Falls, 3

In western Washington between Mt. Rainier and the Pacific Ocean, Porter Creek flows under a high canopy of conifers, winding through the hills and ferns. In a short series of four paintings, artist Henry Caserotti explores the mystery and visual interest of the area. The artworks depict trees and underbrush above the falls. The sun shines through the branches, casting dappled light on the forest floor. While each piece stands alone in its own right, Henry created the collection to complement one another.
