He found inspiration for this painting from nature. The different way that flowers move in the wind influenced the movement in this painting. The colors of the garden were translated to the colors of the flowers themselves like the yellow and the greens. He painted in short strokes to give the feeling of blowing in the wind. The painting has been varnished to protect it from UV light.
