Wetland Sanctuary

Is it a marsh or a prairie? I see grasses already turned green. Islands of shrubs and trees dot the land far into the distance. The water is not visible, but a step forward and one better have the Wellingtons on. I stand and paint on solid ground at the edge of this world. It is very early spring and a symphony of Chorus Frogs fills the air. This piece is on gallery wrapped canvas and the painting continues around the sides. It comes varnished, wired, and ready to hang.
