Kaya Woven Dishcloth {Forest Animals}
Cotton gauze dishcloth in a design featuring autumn animals in calm, seasonal colors. This cloth is crafted from five layers of kaya—a delicate, gauze-like fabric made from pure cotton, traditionally used as mosquito netting and a specialty of Nara Prefecture, Japan's ancient capital. Kaya fabric is highly absorbent and durable, making it ideal for dishcloths. Lightweight yet resilient, these cloths fold easily for use and spread out quickly to dry. With time, they soften and become more supple, eventually making excellent rags for extended use.
