"Drawing Lace" is a unique series of jewelry hand crafted by Tokyo based artist Kimiko Suzuki. The delicate and beautifully detailed motif that looks like lace is actually created by drawing the lace-like pattern with porcelain clay paste, just like icing decoration that is done on the cake. The back side of the porcelain motif is glazed to give extra strength, while the top side is left unglazed showing beautiful matte finish.
