One-of-a-kind, beautifully crafted small drawstring bag – Kinchaku Bag – meticulously hand-stitched with beautiful sashiko embroidery by ITOTSUZURI. Lovely sashiko embroidery is applied on one side of vintage Japanese fabric, while the other side features boro-like patches, creating a rough texture that beautifully contrasts with the meticulous embroidery. Japanese vintage aizome (indigo-dyed) boro fabric is used to create these pouches. Boro is a traditional Japanese textile technique of patching and mending worn fabric with sashiko stitching, creating unique, layered patterns to strengthen the fabric and add decorative elements. This small-sized bag is perfect for carrying a few small items such as a lipstick, keys, credit cards, etc. The cord is made by drying plants from the nettle family, stripping the stems, extracting the fibers, and twisting them into a cord.Other designs and sizes are also available.
