Katsura Check Socks | Olive + Leaf

  These checkered socks –– here in black and brown –– are inspired by the checks on the sliding screens at the Shokin-tei Teahouse at Katsura Rikyū Imperial Villa in Kyoto, built in the 17th century (and one of the world's most beautiful architectural creations––please see the picture below!).
