The Western Snowy Plover (Charadrius nivosus nivosus) breeds in open areas of sand, where its speckled eggs camouflage with the surrounding environment! Unfortunately, recreational usage of beaches has resulted in a population decline over several decades due to habitat loss and human disturbances. Each enamel pin is approximately 1.25" in size with a gold plated finish and a single rubber clutch to secure it's stay on wherever you may choose to display it! Sent on a 3x4 informative backing card.   Please click HERE to refer to Umvvelt's Pin Grading System page for more detailed information with regards to the quality control/check of our enamel pins! As all enamel pins are individually handmade, minor imperfections are to be expected! Umvvelt does NOT offer a "Collector's/"S" Grade" level of pins! Please keep this in mind when purchasing these items!
