“Aunt Susan” was born Edna Vance in 1893. Aunt Susan was her pen name for columns she wrote for The Oklahoman in the late 1920s. Her career also included a radio program of recipes and homemaking tips. Cooking classes. Food fairs. A stint with McCall’s Magazine and with promoting Betty Crocker. The author says, “no one woman has left a larger, more lasting imprint on our regional lifestyle than” Aunt Susan.  The recipes are not as out of date as you might think. The illustrations and old photographs are a delight. Great addition to a community cookbook collection or Oklahoma. This is a spiral bound hardback,1990 second printing, and autographed by the editor.  (previously owned)
