Tobacco Basket

Traditional Tobacco baskets were produced for tobacco companies until the late 1960s. The basket is latticed on the base and finished with a large X. The body with wide rattan strips and wrapped handles creates a stunning statement on the wall or in multiples on a table with special objects. Artisan Made: Designed and handcrafted by Erin and Peggy Pollard and a small team of weavers in Maine and New York. Materials: 100% Rattan Core, an abundant Climbing Palm grown in South East Asia and sourced through local longtime partners. Color: We use non-toxic dyes and finishes. Enjoy natural color variations from the plant fibers.  Dimensions: Approximately 34"L x 34"W x 6"H with handle  Care: For indoor use. Wipe clean with a dry cloth.
