Tisas B9R 4.25" Gen 2 Basilisk Compensator Thumb Rest Mk2

The Underworld Arms Basilisk Compensator for the Gen 2 Tisas B9R Carry 4.25" DS 1911, is a frame mounted compensator with two large expansion chambers that redirect the gas flow into two large top ports and four angled side ports which dramatically reduces muzzle flip and felt recoil.  The Basilisk uses concave gas diverters at the front wall of the expansion chamber to route gas into the two upward angled side ports and the top port. By using this concave diverter the gas retains more of its energy as it is redirected and more gas is trapped and redirected into the ports. The side ports are angled up at 68 degrees which creates a 44 degree arc of gas venting.  This 50 state legal compensator is made for unthreaded barrels and is anodized black. This compensator has an ambi thumb rest lower with horizontal serrations that match the horizontal serrations on the slide release and thumb safety for a cohesive aesthetic.
