I am Samantha, the Founder + Creative Director behind Frankie + Claude, and also the "Frankie" part of our name. After graduating from art school I took a detour from design to work in the legal field for nearly a decade. Designing stationery began as a creative outlet. Inspired by my passion for design and creativity, what began as a weekend hobby transformed into Frankie + Claude. A match-striker is affixed to the bottom of the jar for ease of use, but hidden from sight when your jar is displayed. Matches are easy to remove; simply turn over the jar and give it a shake. On average a jar of matches will last over a year of use.
