Amethyst Flower Plate with Anhydrite

A unique plate of lavender purple Amethyst crystals clustered together on this gorgeous specimen from Brazil. This formation is sometimes referred to as an Amethyst "flower", where the crystals are concentrated in a such a way it almost looks like flower petals! This piece has a very special addition in the form of white Anhydrite crystals which inter-grew with the Amethyst crystals at the top. Typically you see Calcite crystals with Amethyst, so the Anhydrite is a special addition to the mineral mix! Approx. 6.25" H x 5.5" W x 1.25" Deep Need a display stand?
