
Large Veracruz Amethyst with 3 Enhydros
THREE Enhyrdos in one crystal! This amazing Amethyst crystal specimen comes from Veracruz, Mexico. It contains inclusions of ancient liquids and gases sometimes referred to as Enhydros or Fluid Inclusions. Fluid and air became trapped inside the crystal as it was growing. When tilted back and forth you can see the gas bubble move inside the liquid trapped within the cavity. Geologists can study these inclusions to determine what depth, temperature and pressure in which the minerals developed, giving us valuable information into the geologic environment where they formed. This specimen features three separate Enhydros, along with a partial skeletal growth structure to the crystal and some sidecar crystal friends! A striking specimen with glassy luster and soft purple color with orange iron inclusions. The crystal will come with the Enhydros circled with marker which can easily be removed with a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a paper towel or Q-tip. We do this to ensure you can easil
