Sea Glass

One of my favorite places is Glass Beach in Northern California. The color of this handspun yarn reminds me of the pieces of glass from there. It was spun here in our Montana studio but the fiber is a mystery. I was gifted a large amount of fiber that was unlabeled. At best guess it’s a longwool of some kind but could be mohair as well. It’s not a yarn that I would want right up against skin but would make pretty and durable outer wear. Mystery wool 152 yards Worsted weight  3.9 oz/ 109 grams We recommend that all items created with handcrafted yarns be washed in cold water with mild detergent and laid flat to dry.
