This makes it easier to remove. Step 2: Scrape Off Excess Wax Use a spoon or dull knife to gently scrape off as much wax as possible. Step 3: Apply Dawn Dish Soap Add a few drops of Dawn directly onto the stained area. Gently work it into the fabric using your finger Step 4: Add Degreaser Apply a small amount of degreaser on top of the Dawn. This helps break down any oily residue left by the wax. Step 5: Scrub with a Brush Use a soft brush (like a toothbrush). Gently scrub the stain in circular motions for 1–2 minutes.
