Klim Vanguard GTX Short Glove

The Klim Vanguard GTX Short offers Gore-Tex waterproofing, copious protection with strategic foam padding at the digits, and a larger rubber knuckle guard with a patterned leather overlay. These gloves have a quick on/easy-off layout with a Velcro wrist adjustment under the palm, and a back-of-hand zipper for fast access. But for as easy as these gloves are to get on and off, they offer outsized protection—both from the elements, thanks to the Gore-Tex liner, and from the asphalt, thanks to the armor sprinkled throughout the glove. It’s important to note that these gloves, unlike their longer Gauntlet sibling, the Vanguard GTX Long, do not come with insulation. This means they’re good from spring through fall, but will require a glove liner if you’re going to push them past foliage season into winter rides.
