The author was an Italian cardinal, philosopher, theorist, and historian. This book is bound in full leather with five raised bands on the spine. It has a full page woodcut illustration of an eagle fighting a snake. There is a previous owner's inscription inside. It has rubbing to all of the edges and corners. There is crack in the front cover but it is still attached. Pages 202-203 are missing. The last leaf of book three is torn but does not affect its text. This is a gorgeous copy of this very important book in religious history.Location: Shop Floor
