This is a fabulous piece of Pre Columbian pottery. It is an Olla with figural handles - they are an awesome frog design. This piece is from the Costa Rican region, and is circa 800-1500AD. It has a reddish finish with wear consistent for its age. It is red painted with a white ground. It has some cracks and wear - consistent with its ageIt measures about 3" tall by 5" wide.This is part of a collection that was purchased out of Western Mass by a life long collector.
