This is a fabulous piece of Pre Columbian pottery. It is a simple rounded ceremonial bowl. This piece is from the Chiriqui region of Panama / Columbia, and is circa 800-1500AD. It has wear consistent for its age. It is the traditional "armadillo wear" Pre Columbian composition - terra cotta clay finish.It measures about 2.5" tall by 5" wide.This is part of a collection that was purchased out of Western Mass by a life long collector.
